Aspire Family Fun Days

Aspire Family Fun Days are community events designed for children, parents and carers. They bring together local partners from across the Family Hub Network to offer activities, information and support for families. These events take place during the summer and provide a mix of play opportunities, learning experiences and access to local services in one place.

Family Fun Days often include hands‑on activities for children, outdoor play, creative sessions and information stands from organisations that support families. Each year we welcome a range of partners who share resources and run activities. The partners involved may vary from event to event.

What happens at a Family Fun Day

Family Fun Days offer a range of activities for children of all ages. These may include craft sessions, outdoor games, early years play, storytelling, wellbeing information and opportunities to meet local support services. Partners from across the Family Hub Network take part and bring resources, activities and information for families.

Activities vary each year, but the focus is always on creating a welcoming and enjoyable day for families during the summer holidays.

Other events at our centres

Families can also explore other activities, groups and sessions running throughout the year at our Children and Family Centres. These include early years play sessions, parenting support, holiday activities and community events.
