Supporting Children and Families across Cheltenham & Tewkesbury
Aspire Foundation is a place where families feel welcome, supported and understood. Our Children and Family Centres and Early Years settings offer warm, friendly spaces where children can play, learn and grow, and where parents and carers can find practical guidance from people who genuinely care. We support families across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury with high‑quality Early Years education, family support and inclusive activities that help children thrive during the most important years of their development.
We work closely with the NHS, Gloucestershire County Council and a wide range of community partners to make support easy to access. Through this joined‑up approach, families can take part in children’s activities, Early Help, parenting guidance and services that support wellbeing from pregnancy through the early years.
Children and Family Centres in Cheltenham & Tewkesbury
Aspire Foundation operates five welcoming Children and Family Centres: Gardners Lane, Hesters Way, Noah’s Ark, Oakwood and Brockworth. Each centre is a safe, friendly place where families can meet others, find support and join activities that encourage learning, confidence and connection.
Our centres offer baby hubs, stay‑and‑play groups, SEND‑inclusive sessions, parenting courses, antenatal and perinatal support, community events and seasonal activities. Families can also speak with Family Support Workers for advice on routines, behaviour, sleep, wellbeing and accessing services. Whether you are a new parent, a carer, a dad looking for support or a family seeking guidance, our centres provide a warm, inclusive space where you can feel at ease and find the help you need.
Children’s Activities in Cheltenham & Tewkesbury
Across our centres, we run a varied programme of children’s activities designed to support early learning, social development and family wellbeing. Sessions are fun, inclusive and developmentally supportive, helping children build communication skills, confidence and positive relationships.
Activities include creative play, sensory exploration, music and movement, story‑based sessions, SEND‑inclusive groups, baby hubs and dad‑only Stay and Play sessions delivered in partnership with Dad Matters. Our team works closely with health visitors, midwives and specialist partners to ensure every child can take part and every family feels welcome. Programmes change throughout the year, giving families the chance to explore new opportunities and find sessions that suit their child’s age and stage.
Early Years Education in Cheltenham &Tewkesbury
Aspire Foundation provides high‑quality Early Years education: Gardners Lane, Hesters Way, Noah’s Ark, Oakwood and Rowanfield. Our settings are nurturing, play‑based environments where children develop the skills they need for school and life.
Children learn through play linked to the EYFS, supported by highly trained practitioners and a dedicated key person. Our indoor and outdoor spaces encourage curiosity, communication and emotional wellbeing, and we offer inclusive support for children with SEND or additional needs. Funded Early Education places are available for 2‑, 3‑ and 4‑year‑olds, including extended 30‑hour entitlement for eligible working parents.
Family Support and Early Help
As part of Gloucestershire’s Early Help offer, Aspire Foundation provides coordinated, compassionate support for families experiencing challenges. Our Family Support Workers and Community Family Workers offer practical guidance on routines, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, sleep, weaning, toilet training and more.
Families can access support through Coffee & Chat sessions, one‑to‑one home‑based support, parenting groups, Early Help referrals and signposting to specialist services. Our aim is to identify needs early, reduce stress for families and ensure every child has the best possible start.
Part of Gloucestershire’s Family Hub Network
Aspire Foundation is a proud delivery partner in Gloucestershire’s Family Hub Network. We work alongside NHS teams, local councils and community organisations to make support easier to find both in person and online. Families can visit our centres or explore Gloucestershire’s Virtual Family Hub for resources, service directories and parenting information. This joined‑up approach ensures families receive consistent, coordinated support wherever they are.
Working Together to Support Families
We collaborate with Gloucestershire County Council, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Borough Councils, NHS midwifery and health visiting teams, CCP, Speech and Language Therapy, Young Carers and other voluntary organisations. These partnerships strengthen our offer and help us deliver high‑quality children’s activities, Early Years education and family support.
