Safeguarding

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our care is paramount. We provide an environment where children are helped to feel secure, are encouraged to talk and be listened to.

All staff have undertaken child protection training in the identification of welfare concerns and actions to be taken when addressing concerns of a safeguarding nature.

Data Protection

In order to work effectively, Aspire Foundation collects and uses information about people with whom it works. All personal information is handled and dealt with properly, regardless of how it is collected, recorded and used. Aspire Foundation fully endorses and complies with the principles of data protection as set out in the Data Protection Act (2018) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We are committed to making sure our staff and volunteers are aware of data protection policies, legal requirements and that adequate training is provided.

Health & Safety

The Directors and Leadership Team of Aspire Foundation recognise and accept their responsibilities for the management of Health and Safety across the organisation. The requirement to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and others affected by its activities is taken seriously.

Risk assessments are undertaken, control measures are implemented and systems are continuously monitored and reviewed by staff and managers.
